Vitamin C Dark Spots Reddit
If I stop using a Vitamin C product, will my dark spots come back, like when you using Retin A?
Title says it all really. If you stop using Retin A the wrinkles eventually come back, and I was wondering if the same was true for Vitamin C serums and brown spots. I couldn't find anything about it online!

I wouldn't think so, as long as your pigmentation isn't caused by a reccuring condition. If it's from Sun exposure or post pregnancy, and you use sunscreen it shouldn't return. Vitamin C has long term anti aging benefits though, so if it's affordable not causing adverse reactions, it's likely worth making a permanent part of your routine.

Thank you! The brown spots are caused by previous pimples. A pimple is always a big deal for me because I know it'll leave a horrible little brown spot afterwards!

Hyperpigmentation won't come back for sure, however new one can occur if you go out without sunscreen often for example.

They don't, unless you're experiencing new issues.

You mean wrinkles? Because it "puffs up" the skin to smooth out lines. Stop using it = wrinkles come back. :(

NO, have not heard that happening unless you damaged your skin again without using sunscreen.
